NEC will be looking to protect their impressive unbeaten streak when they face Police FC on Friday evening at the Kiira Road Police Arena.

The in-form NEC side has gone ten matches in the league without defeat, making them one of the most dangerous teams in the competition at the moment. However, their momentum slowed in the previous match after they were held to a goalless draw by Entebbe UPPC FC.

Coached by Badru Kaddu, NEC currently sit seventh on the table with 31 points. A win against Police would move them closer to the teams above and keep their strong run alive.

Meanwhile, Police will enter the match with high confidence after securing a hard-fought 1–0 victory over record champions SC Villa earlier this week.

When the two teams last met at the MTN Omondi Stadium, the match ended in an exciting 2–2 draw. NEC had taken a commanding 2–0 lead before Police fought back to earn a point.

Other Friday Fixtures

Other matches scheduled for Friday include:

BUL FC vs Mbarara City FC FUFA Technical Centre (4:00 PM)

Kitara FC vs Buhimba United Saints FC Hoima City Stadium (4:00 PM)

Saturday Fixtures March 14

Lugazi FC vs KCCA FC – Najjembe (4:00 PM)

Express FC vs URA FC – Hamz Stadium (8:00 PM)

The clash between NEC and Police is expected to be one of the most exciting games of the weekend as both sides look to strengthen their positions in the league stand.
